The graph above shows the population of various countries around the world. There are about 7.4 billion people on Earth, and that number keeps growing. Only 40 out of the 195 countries are featured in the graph, but the group is meant to be a sample and not an exhaustive list of our world.
China and India have by far the largest populations out of all the countries. They have nearly 3 billion people between the two of them. 3 BILLION PEOPLE. That’s an insanely large amount of people.
The USA places at the top of this list with a population size of 330 millions. That is certainly a very large number, but it does not even come close to the population sizes of China and India. China has more than 4 times the amount of people as the USA.
On the other end of this list is Iceland. Iceland only has 350,000 people living within its boarders. Although not the least populated county in the world, it is the least populated country on this list. (Vatican City is the smallest country in the world with a population of 450 people.)
World Countries Population Graph Notes:
The x-axis (horizontal part of the graph) shows the name of the country. The y-axis (vertical part of the graph) shows the population. Each bar represents the number of people living in that country. The graph is generated using 2021 data. The population is pretty diverse. There is a huge difference between the number of people living in China vs Iceland.
