USA States ~ Total Water Area in Square Miles

Natural Science USA States

Water and land make up the United States. The above graph shows all each USA state and its total water area in squared miles. The 50 states have a lot of variety when it comes to the amount of water found in their borders.

Arizona, New Mexico, and West Virginia have the least amount of water. While Alaska, Michigan, and Florida have the most. The most surprising state in this run down is West Virginia. Never would have guessed that it has the least amount of water out of all 50.
